Veggie mediterranean delight…
This was my first time making this one and it’s definitely a keeper. So I’m a sophomore vegetarian and I’m always looking to try new recipes and inform you all of the good ones along the way. And this right here …. it was amazing.
- Frozen meatless chicken patties (I like the Quorn brand)
- Thin pita pockets (whole wheat)
- Tahini sauce
- Red onion
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
It looks like a lot of ingredients but this is quick and delicious, trust !
Cook the meatless chicken set aside. Salute mushrooms, place on top of chicken mix and set aside. Mix all sauces hummus, tahini sauce & Mayo set aside.
Next dice and mix tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, lemon squeeze, salt & pepper, and a dab of olive oil.
Then you’re ready to go. Warm pita pockets and begin to layer all ingredients inside as you like.
Add chips or a salad on the side to complete the meal. You will love this veggie mediterranean delight.
